I think I’m finding a common thread. With the couples I’ve been working with lately. It’s that quality of true acceptance. I’ve mentioned it before. But it’s really struck me recently. ‘Cause, when you bring to human beings together, on that day they speak the words and sign the papers and stand united before witnesses. On their wedding day. So much is revealed about the two who are coming together. You’ll see that deep and embracing acceptance when a couple share it. You will.
And with Luce and Ben, standing with, and before, their people, it was plain to see. That simple, but profound, thing. You know what I’m going to say: acceptance. Two people who own themselves, own who they are, and now own each other too. And the family they make.
And that’s the measure of love, ain’t it? I reckon. That’s how it shows itself. In it’s strength to bind two human beings. That’s what I could see with these two.
Luce and Ben.
