So, for the first five (now one) couples to book with me I'm going to cut the cost of any of my packages by 25%. You'll get every benefit you otherwise would, but my 12 hour coverage will come in at $2,600, my 10 hour coverage at $2,250, and my 8 hour package at $1,850.

See, I'm a recent Tasmania immigrant, and I'm in business development mode right now, and want to push forward. Choosing me as your photographer is both a financial investment and substantial investment of faith in my capabilities. That investment deserves its own reward at this stage of my career. What's included in the price?

I work my photography packages simply in blocks of time: 8, 10, and 12 hours.

What you get: ME. My attention and effort and focus across the span of time you choose. I'll be there to capture every phase and moment and fragment of time that I can. You'll have your own private web gallery and download archive, from where you are free to download and distribute your pics as you see fit. I'm not interested in controlling where or to who you give/post/print your wedding pics. I only ask you don't alter them. You'll also get tastefully presented USB "hard" copy of your pics. Turnaround on your wedding images is generally between 3 and 6 weeks.

Yup ..... I'm not going to rock up at your wedding unprepared. If you're local, I'm going to get to your venue/s way ahead of time to check everything out and prep for the big day. If you're not down here in Hobart, I'm going to get to your venue/s the day before and properly scope out everything I can for the next day.

After your wedding, I'll sit down with all your pics, fine tune and grade them all: I take great care digitally developing your photos to yield the highest quality images I can. For every hour I spend shooting your wedding day there will be 1.5-2 hours spent after the event editing and grading. So, for a twelve hour shoot that's 18-24 hours of additional work.

+ what about before you jump aboard?

My aim, before your wedding, is to sit down with the two of you and get to know each other some. That's my ideal. I want you to feel at ease with me. Likely we'll not have met before, but on your day I'm going to be right there with you during this intimate and significant time—so I want you to be comfortable with me. If we can meet up more than once, awesome.

Failing a sit down, let's Skype, chat over the phone, exchange ideas over email. Let's do those things anyways.

And, of course, we'll sort out all the practicalities of the day.

 
 
 

do i travel?

Round Tasmania I'll travel for free. Accommodation-wise, If you want to put me up somewhere with friends, with family, with you, that's fine by me. Otherwise I'll charge $175/night to feed and shelter me somewhere I find. Simple.

And anywhere else? Of course! I'll travel anywhere you want. If you want me to be with you on your day, I want to be there. Just get in touch and I'll give you a quote based on your destination.

Here are some figures for a few general locations, to give you an idea of cost. The sum includes two nights accommodation, car hire, and airfares:
